3. Be Humble before God

Question: What does it mean to be humble before You?

God’s answer:

You take My no for an answer.

Meaning: To be humble before God is take His “no” for an answer because we acknowledge, accept and trust that He is wiser than us.

A common teaching is we should keep praying for what we are asking for and eventually God will give it to us. Nagging God and storming heaven’s door with the same request is the way you can get what you want. Many swear by this.

I say the opposite, if after asking for the same thing over and over, and you still don’t get it, take a hint. The answer is no! And, if you receive what

you are asking for over time, it would have happened anyway without your persistence.

As God said: “Do not focus on what you want but on what I want to give you.” Seek to understand God’s way rather than insisting on your way. Ask, and then trust that whatever is perfect is what will transpire.

Question: When we ask something from You, how many times should we ask?

God’s answer:

Once is enough. I Am not deaf.
